ART SHOW ENHANCES THE ORCHID FESTIVAL

 

A feast for the eyes!  If beautiful orchids were not enough, the Sunset Rotary of Yucca Valley has announced that Chaparral Artist will be sponsoring an art show as part of the festivities for the 20th Annual Orchid Festival activities.   Adult and children’s categories will be exhibited and judged.  Many of the pieces of art will be offered for sale.  Come browse the greenhouses, enjoying original artwork and orchids while you sip your wine.

 

Mark your calendars to come out to Gubler Orchids, 2200 Belfield Blvd. in Landers. The Orchid Festival runs from Saturday, October 3, 10 AM – 8 PM to Sunday, October 4, 10 AM – 3 PM. In addition to the art show, there will be Saturday-only tethered balloon rides (weather permitting), a 5-k Orchid run in the morning and the “best ever in Landers” fireworks show at 7:30 PM. Both days feature greenhouse tours, orchid classes, food, wine tasting, live music, community non-profit organizations and vendor booths. Admission is FREE, and all proceeds go to benefit local non profits. Enjoy the fun and celebrate with us!
