The contestants have gone through a intense five month program  leading up to the pageant.  During the five months contestants interview a prominent women in the community.  Contestants then write an essay on what they have learned from the interview, and later incorporate their findings in a speech during the pageant. 

 

Contestants then learn about volunteering first hand by donating their time in community events, such as the Orchid Festival, Chamber mixer, Desert Soiree, and the light parade to name a few.  These young ladies learn about poise, self worth, and public speaking.

The newly crowned Queen will receive a $2000.00 scholarship. 1st princess $1500.00 scholarship, 2nd princess $1000.00, and 3rd princess $750.00. Go to our Scholarship page to learn more about the pageant.
