Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert
Mission: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. History Leadership provided by a diverse, prestigious, dedicated Board of Directors.The Club serves the entire Morongo Basin.Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert originated as a community service of the Rotary Club of Yucca Valley.The Club has been serving the children of the Morongo Basin since 1982. 2007 Goals Raise funds from local District 5330 Rotary clubs, family, and friends. Project must involve hands on, on site involvement of District 5330 Rotarians. We travel to the disaster area to complete the project work with local Rotarians.
2007 STARs Project • Buy playground equipment and set up play facility. • Construct T-ball field with fencing and bleachers • Rehab at least one home in Pass Christian, Mississippi

The Morongo Basin Coalition for Adult Literacy, Inc., provides free confidential, one-on-one tutoring to illiterate adults over eighteen who need help with reading, writing, and/or mathematics in order to achieve their potential and to function in their home, workplace, and community.
