NEWS FLASH!! Bike For Shoes Tour on May 17th
2007 Orchid Festival Beneficiaries Receive Checks

Local charities and S.T.A.R.S.were presented with donation checks from proceeds of the 12th Annual Orchid Festival that is sponsored by the Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary Club and Gubler Orchids.  Checks totaling $11,290 were distributed.  Pictured are Judy Andreshak and Virginia Sulick from Theatre 29, Lynn Pletcher from Service To American Rotarians, Chris Gubler from Sunset Rotary and Gubler Orchids,  Bill Parquet from Joshua Tree Kids Club, and Trish Kotila who is the current president of Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary.  Receiving checks, but not pictured, are the Morongo Basin Coalition for Adult Literacy, Landers Elementary After School Programs, and The Arizona Orchid Society. The Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Desert was presented a $3,500 check during its November Gala.

The Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary Club is a member of Rotary District 5330 and is one of two Rotary Clubs in Yucca Valley.  We are all part of Rotary International, an International Network of Community Volunteers.
 

Our club meets every Thursday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m, and that is why we have "Sunset" in our name.
